Beazer Homes neighborhood feels fallout from foreclosures - CharlotteObserver.com
I think we need to start giving some sort of financial literacy test, and maybe even a license to sign contracts. Yes, the crooks at Beazer need to be punished. But, becoming a "victim" of this scam required interaction, and those that are fiscally ignorant and/or fiscally irresponsible are the ones that got punked. And, that's not my fault nor is it my responsibility to bail them out. Ignorance and irresponsible behavior does and should have consequences. Own it, accept it, learn from it and move on.
Folks need to stop wanting so bad and accept what they need and can afford.People want to go straight to larger homes and forget any mention of starting in a smaller "starter" home. Ignorant and irresponsible excessive behavior has repercussions.
