Perhaps, we should rename “Independence Day” to “Dependence Day”. This Nation is increasingly becoming a nation of people who do not care that the government wants and demands to “take care of us”. Of course, it’s because “it’s in our best interest”. Unfortunately, a lot of folks just readily accept this, and even squall for more.
This Republic has become a freakish monstrosity of what our Founding Fathers envisioned and planned. Sadly, too many people just don’t care about the dependence trap that our Nation, the government and people are willingly descending into. A pitiful shell of what once was.
